Trash pumps employ the deepest impeller vanes to produce the largest discharge capacity, incorporated with a large volute discharge opening to pass water containing suspended sticks, stones & debris without clogging or harming pump components. These trash and sludge pumps will pump water containing solid items such as gravel or silt and are designed for heavy-duty centrifugal pump applications where debris prevents the use of standard centrifugal pumps. All our water pumps have been chosen for their reliability and quality of build, resulting in long life in the toughest of conditions.
