The large 30L fuel tank increases running time to a maximum of 30 hours, powered by a 4-stroke, air-cooled 456cc single cylinder Hyundai diesel engine, the DHY8000SELR-T has a Max/Standby kW 5.8
The control panel features 1 x 32A 230v single phase socket and 1 x 16A 400v three phase socket plus a 12v DC battery charging outlet.
The ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) can be connected to an ATS system for maximum convenience. When the ATS module detects a loss of power from the mains supply it starts your generator up automatically and switches the supply from mains to generator. When the mains power resumes, it switches back to mains supply and switches the generator off. This electric start diesel generator, can be started with a two wire start function or a simple turn of the key being all that’s required to start or stop the machine when controlled manually.
Housed in silenced casing, the DHY8000SELR-T is an extremely quiet machine and will keep disturbance to a minimum for you, your family or your employees when powering your building. With a sound rating of 70dB @ 7 metres.
The DHY8000SELR-T is economical to run, using roughly 1L of diesel every hour. Since the DHY8000SELR-T can run on red diesel, which is significantly cheaper than the white diesel you put into your car, running costs can be kept to a minimum.

Hyundai Power Equipment is the trading name of Genpower Ltd. Genpower is the UK’s sole importer for Hyundai Power Equipment, including generators, water pumps and garden machinery.

Hyundai Power Equipment portfolio began in in 2009 with petrol and diesel generators. Shortly after it expanded to include leisure inverter generators, air compressors, water pumps and pressure washers. In 2013 they introduced their range of petrol powered garden machinery to the UK, and since then Hyundai have built up a reputation with both domestic and professional users for their high quality, affordable products.
In 2015 Hyundai brought out their first 36v battery-powered garden machinery range. This battery-powered range includes a lawn mower, grass trimmer, hedge trimmer, pole saw and a chainsaw. All five products provide safe, clean and very green power.

This can vary on larger sets, these can take up to 5-7 working days. Please feel free to contact us before, or after ordering to check. If in doubt please call for a delivery time estimate. All deliveries are subject to availability. In the unlikely event of there being a delay we will contact you by email. Delivery is normally between 8.00 am and 8.00 pm weekdays (Monday to Friday).
Please Note: Some large canopy generators will require an offload facility at delivery destination, such as a forklift or other form of lifting equipment.
