Uplight was the result of an extensive research, development and testing programme spanning 18 months. The remit for the project was to develop a viable alternative to traditional fluorescent lighting that would eliminate all of the problems associated with this troublesome unit type. Uplight was finally conceived as a much more robust, safer and brighter work and leisure light with many uses across countless applications – many of which are still to be discovered.
