The Operating principle:
home generator set that take's over from the mains supply automatically and reliably.
The automatic transfer switch monitors the presence of the mains and then selects the power source. If there is a power cut, the automatic transfer switch starts the generator set and switches the power source to restore the electrical supply within a few seconds.
When the mains electricity supply returns to normal, the automatic transfer switch switches back to the mains, turns off the genset and continues to monitor the mains supply. SDMO® generator sets are also programmed to carry out automatic weekly maintenance tests to ensure that they are in working order and able to generate electricity should there be a power cut. SDMO® gensets provide a reliable, continuous supply even for the most sophisticated electronic equipment.
The SDMO RES-13 is designed to run off off liquid propane gas or natural gas Gas, this generator has lower emissions, making it more environmentally friendly, run more quietly and require less frequent maintenance.

What's happening when the mains supply is ok
While the mains power supply is OK, the ATS
(Automatic Transfer Switch) connects the mains to the house. |
What's happens when there is a power cut
When there is a power cut, the automatic transfer switch
detects that there is no mains electricity and starts the
generating set. The distribution board is then supplied
from the generator which provides electricity to the home. |
