| The Poly series of self-priming centrifugal pumps are for transfer of aggressive liquids that would normally cause corrosion of the rubber, aluminium and cast iron components found in conventional engine driven pumps. They are constructed from glass reinforced polyester, with stainless steel fasteners and EPDM rubber components. This standard construction will handle most detergents, many agricultural chemicals and salt/sea water. Optional Buna or Viton fitted seal sets are available at extra cost for pumping diesel or acids. The pump have carbon ceramic mechanical seals, powder coated easy carry frames, quick release couplings and suction strainer, but hoses are extra. They are powered by A Honda GX160 OHV petrol engine (with oil alert),. Maximum suction lift is 7 metres, when primed, however 6 metres, or less, is recommended. The pumps must not be allowed to run dry. They are widely used in agricultural applications, but, with their material options, they also have many industrial uses. Specification:
